Team Psychological Safety Certification Program 2026: Build Stronger, Safer, High-Performing Teams

Why Psychological Safety Still Matters More Than Ever

In today’s fast-paced and high-pressure work environments, performance alone is no longer enough. Teams are expected to innovate, collaborate across cultures, and navigate constant change. But none of that is sustainable without one critical foundation: psychological safety.

Psychological safety is the shared belief that a team is safe for interpersonal risk-taking. It means people feel comfortable speaking up, sharing ideas, asking questions, and even admitting mistakes without fear of embarrassment or punishment. When this exists, teams don’t just function, they thrive.

Research by Harvard professor Amy Edmondson, who pioneered the concept, shows that psychologically safe teams are more innovative, more engaged, and ultimately more successful. Yet, many organizations still struggle to move from awareness to actual implementation.

That’s where structured learning and practical application come in.

Introducing the 2026 TPS Certification Cohorts

The Team Psychological Safety Certification Program (TPS) by FELIZ Consulting is designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice. It equips leaders, coaches, and professionals with the tools, frameworks, and confidence to actively build psychologically safe teams.

For 2026, two cohorts are opening:

Cohort #5 (Cantonese)

  • 30 May 2026 – In-person session

  • 6 & 13 June 2026 – Online sessions

Cohort #6 (English)

  • June 15, 22, 29, and July 6, 2026 – Online sessions

Both cohorts are carefully designed to provide a balance of learning, reflection, and real-world application.

What Makes This Program Different

There are countless leadership and team development programs available today. What makes the TPS Certification Program stand out is its depth and practicality.

This is not about surface-level conversations or generic leadership advice. Instead, participants work through a structured model that allows them to:

  • Understand the core elements of psychological safety

  • Identify barriers within their own teams or organizations

  • Learn how to measure psychological safety effectively

  • Apply actionable strategies to improve communication, trust, and performance

The program is grounded in real workplace scenarios, making it immediately relevant whether you are leading a small team or managing across functions.

Learn from Experienced Facilitators

The program is led by TPS Master Facilitators Leona Wan and Venus Leung, both highly experienced coaches and practitioners in leadership and team development.

Their facilitation goes beyond teaching. They create an environment that reflects psychological safety itself, allowing participants to experience the concepts in action, not just learn about them.

This approach helps participants build both confidence and competence, which is often missing in traditional training settings.

Professional Recognition That Supports Your Growth

Participants will earn 28 ICF CCE (Continuing Coach Education) points, making this program especially valuable for coaches and professionals who are committed to continuous development.

Beyond certification, the real value lies in the ability to bring these insights back into your organization and create tangible impact.

Who Should Join

This program is ideal for:

  • Leaders and managers looking to improve team performance

  • HR and L&D professionals driving culture and engagement

  • Coaches and consultants supporting organizational growth

  • Anyone who wants to build stronger, more inclusive teams

If your role involves people, communication, and performance, this program is relevant to you.

Turning Awareness Into Action

Many organizations talk about psychological safety. Fewer know how to build it consistently.

The difference lies in moving from intention to action. It requires the right mindset, the right tools, and the right environment to practice.

The TPS Certification Program offers all three.

Take the Next Step

If you are ready to create teams that communicate openly, perform sustainably, and support each other through challenges, this is your opportunity to start.

Whether you join the Cantonese or English cohort, you will walk away with practical skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
